Born March 17, 1990; 17 years old. This talented player has earned several Dutch titles as a (young) junior: rapid champion under 11 and under 12, the Dutch title under 12 and the Open Dutch under 14. He was born in the region of Arnhem. Last season he played for ESGOO (Enschede) in the Dutch team competition. His score was very good: 6/9 with a performance rating of no less than 2534, enough for his second IM-norm. The tournament in Arnhem will be his first international round robin.
