 Born January 20, 1990; 17 years old. Not yet known in the Netherlands, but he is the current New Zealand champion with an impressive score of 9/11. He is also rapid champion of his country. He already participated in the Olympiads of 2004 and 2006. In May he remained unbeaten in the zonal tournament of Oceania, played in Fiji! His score of 6½/9 was enough for second place and the IM-title, so he has been invited as a FM but will be playing as an IM in Arnhem. link to the FIDE website.
